A Bow Porcelain bocaged candlestick version of a 'New Dancer' c.1765. The finely modelled figure is set on ornate scrolled base, with four feet, trimmed in turquoise enamel and gilt, wearing brightly enamelled clothes, standing and gesturing, with bocage behind her. The top of the figure would have original had a porcelain sconce. Unmarked.
Condition: Some minor loses and repairs to the bocage. One foot has been restuck. No other restoration.
