In Heraldry, the crest is described as follows: Paly of six or and gules on a bend sable three mullets of the first. The crest may be blazoned as 'A dexter arm embowed vambraced proper holding fesswise a falchion argent pommelled and hilted or. Some version of this crest have encircling the arm at the elbow 'a cordon nowed vert'.
