A First Period Worcester pear shaped coffee pot and cover c.1765. Finely hand painted with sprays of colourful European flowers and scattered springs.
Scroll handle with thumb rest, the cover with a finial picked out in gilt.
Provenance: Sir Jeremy Lever Collection, Bonhams. Ex Robert and Celia Morris Collection.
Condition: Small chip to spout and an associated hairline crack. Chip to flower leaf finial on the cover and also edge of lid flange. Small chip to base (appears underglaze)
