A Minton porcelain bottle shaped vase c.1840

A fine Minton porcelain bottle shaped vase c.1840. Finely decorated with a panel containing painted fruits by Thomas Steel with a border of richly tooled gilding by John Robins in typical Minton’s Sevres-style, reserved on a deep cobalt ground overlaid with a gilt calioutte pattern.

Condition: Small area of professional restoration to the rim at the rear of the vase and slight re-gilding to the band at the back
