A fine pair of Spode Beaded Matchpots c.1820. Decorated in a rich 'Kakiemon' inspired design. Pattern 3066 has both printed & hand-painted flower decoration. The cobalt blue ground is richly gilded. The gilt 'saw-tooth' border is more unusual for Spode pieces & the date of introduction for this decoration at Spode is around 1818.
Condition: A small area of restoration around the rim to one spill vase as along with some re-gilding
