A Salt-Glazed Stoneware Hunting Jug by Stiff & Sons, Lambeth, London c.1870-1871. The deep neck finely turned and pinched to form a lip, the upper portion with a brown dip glaze, decorated with relief-moulded sprigs with detailed scenes of topers and a windmill above a Deer hunting group, with silver mounts and heavy flat lid hallmarked for Edward Charles Brown, London c.1870-1871.

Condition: Cracks to the side of the jug which runs to the base as shown. Very faint hairline to the base of the handle.
