A fine and very early Ridgway felspathic stoneware monogrammed mug c.1808-1814. Hunting sprigging in ivory on an ivory ground. Continuous brown band round top of the mug and handle. Initials "M R" hand painted on side opposite handle. Engine turned band around the base of the mug. Impressed "Ridgway" mark.
Condition: Small chip to the handle and a short hairline inside
