A James Dudson Pastille Burner c.1840 in the form of a Cottage with Gothic style windows. The roof and edges of the house are decorated with typical so called 'Blue Parsley' shredded clay. The mound base, sides and reverse decorated with overglaze enamels. The body is made from white firing clay and is more like a stone china than porcelain.
