A Flight Barr & Barr Worcester Porcelain Tea Cup c.1815-1820. Decorated with an English chinoiserie Japan pattern scene. A scholar stands in his garden, around him are the traditional scholar's rock and a flowering tree. Using Imari colours as a beginning, the artists at Worcester added Famille Rose pastels and elaborate gilding to create this design.
