An English Porcelain Saucer Dish c.1810. Very finely painted landscape scene of a drover on horseback with his dog, stopped in conversation with a country lady with a basket over her arm and her goat by her side. The road snakes off into the distance to a large town gatehouse with mountains and forests in the background. A gilt scrolling vine border runs around the rim sandwiched between two thick gilt bands. Possibly Spode.

Condition: Slight wear to the gilt band around the rim
