Representative pieces from a rare so-called '22 Factory' Tea Set c.1835-1840. Maker unknown but allocated the name of '22 Factory'. The low round bone china creamer with three pears moulding on the bridged spout and a flower on the moulded handle. The same design to the handle is repeated on the covered sugar box. Together with a trio in the same pattern, the handle with a distinctive flat top and flared base. Some pieces are marked with pattern 310. Simply decorated with with a blue ground and trailing vines in gilt.

Michael Berthoud notes in his book 'A Cabinet of British Creamers' - ''The '22 Factory' is an interesting factory using a wide variety of moulded tea ware shapes. The patterns vary from simple and naive floral designs to more complex range employing ground colours and enamelled flowers.''

Condition: No damage or restoration. A little discolouration to the interior of the sugar box.
