Four Spode Armorial Dessert Plates c.1820. Decorated in pattern 3259 with a wide band painted in royal blue, with large raised white flowers and leaves, trimmed with a gold edge. The blue band is bordered at the bottom with a gold band edged with a 'Van Dyke' gold designed pattern. The central well decorated with a lion rampant on a scroll in gold.
Condition: Three plates are absolutely fine with minimal wear. The fourth plate has a short hairline crack which is mainly visible from the reverse.
