A large Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester Porcelain Centrepiece c.1807 - 1813. The central well decorated with a painted view of Pon y Pair near Llanrwst. All framed within a gilt foliate and scrolling pattern. The border decorated with a pink ground and the rim with a dentil gilding.

Picturesque Landscapes such as this one were a fashionable design of decoration made for customers who selected the views to be painted on their services or individual pieces. Prints of customers’ houses or castles, beauty spots and landmarks were copied by the Flight & Barr painters.

Impressed and printed Barr, Flight & Barr, Worcester marks to the reverse along with title in red script

Condition: Good with no damage or restoration, just some surface wear
