A Flight, Barr & Barr Worcester Porcelain Basket with a scene of Napoleon's Tomb c.1825

A rare Flight, Barr & Barr Worcester Porcelain Basket c.1825. The rectangular shaped basket, with gilded gadrooned rim, finely decorated to the central reserve with a scene of Napoleon's Tomb, St Helena. 

The Valley of the Tomb is the site of Napoleon's tomb, on the British Overseas Territory of Saint Helena in the south Atlantic Ocean, where he was buried following his death in exile on 5 May 1821.

Script mark in red with Coventry St address along with the title 

Condition: Good with no damage apart from some discolouration to the ground colour which has been professionally re-touched.
