A pair of Chamberlain Worcester vases c.1810. Each vase of slender baluster form, finely decorated with continuous landscapes, one depicts two river landscapes including one we believe to be of The Church of St John the Baptist in Strensham. It is perched on a cliff and overlooks the river Avon. The upper and lower sections of the vase decorated with vermicelli gilding.

One vase is just slightly smaller than the other, probably from shrinkage in the kiln but they are definitely a pair.

Condition: Good. No chips, cracks or restoration but some gilding wear particularly to the rim of one vases. Flecks of kiln spit inside the rims
