A Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester Coffee Can in Royal Lily Pattern

A Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester Coffee Can in Royal Lily Pattern c.1807-13. Painted in the popular Royal Lily pattern accented with gilt and iron red enamel.  

In 1788, King George III and Queen Charlotte attended the Worcester Music Meeting. The Royal couple also toured Flight’s Worcester factory, and ordered a breakfast service in the Blue Lily pattern which was renamed ‘Royal Lily’ in Charlotte’s honour.

This coffee can has the impressed BFB mark, c.1807-1813.

Condition. Good with no damage. Just a small amount of wear to the red enamel & gilding
